Hello! I'm so glad you found me.
I created Five Elephants Acupuncture because I believe that everyone should have easy, affordable access to the benefits of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is an incredible honor to be part of the process of helping my patients achieve improved health and well-being. I am looking forward to working with you!
My acupuncture education was completed at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, and I also hold degrees in Theater and Theological Studies from Hanover College in Indiana. I began my acupuncture career in NYC where I worked at City Acupuncture of New York, Brooklyn Acupuncture Project, and New York Community Acupuncture Center. Living now in Louisville (and loving it!) I am licensed by the state of Kentucky to practice acupuncture. In addition to Five Elephants Acupuncture I have worked locally with Jewish Hospital and KentuckyOne Health as an acupuncturist for their Healthy Lifestyle Centers. You can also find me volunteering with the Louisville Acupuncture Project which offers free treatment to veterans, active duty military, and first responders.
I have a special interest in treating “shen (spirit) disturbance”—anxiety, depression, insomnia, and other emotional or mental issues. For me, the most wonderful thing about acupuncture is the ability it has to treat such a wide variety of health conditions. My patients find help with all types of pain, digestive issues, sinusitis and allergies, menstrual complaints or irregularities, arthritis, addiction, fertility support, fatigue and so much more.
When I'm not practicing acupuncture, I love reading, cooking, and hiking.
